when
we set up this web site it was thought we would
be providing fotos for an audience already familiar
with the fotoed kpfa personalities and activities,
and berkeley environment.
this may have been correct, but as awareness of
our struggle to save kpfa has mushroomed into a
national issue so has our audience. for that reason
this and subsequent fotoed events will have more
of a running commentary accompanying the fotos.

this was the evening of the kpfa fundraiser, an
evening of music organized in less than a week,
tickets $20, kick-off 7:30.
we arrived in berkeley from sacramento, an hour
plus drive away, at 6. our first task was to buy
tickets.
